Magazine and spare magazine are stamped with the Walther banner over "P1 9mm" on the left hand side with "7/64" on the spines, indicating manufacture in July of 1964. Walther inspection stamps present on frame, slide and barrel. "BMI" (Federal Ministry of the Interior) stamp on the right side of the frame has been crossed out. The right side is marked with two inspection stamps and "6/64", indicating date of manufacture. ![]() Left side of receiver is marked with the Walther banner followed by "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do./ P1 Cal. Metal components and magazines are blued. Locking block serial number is electro-penciled. Matching numbers include the frame, slide, barrel, and locking block. Interarms import stamp is present on the left side of the aluminum frame.
